Students Protest War Plans

Student protestors took an anti-war message to a busy intersection in northwest Washington Tuesday.
The protest started when dozens of students gathered outside of Wilson High School in the morning.
When classes began, they moved their demonstration off campus to the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and River Road. Soon their numbers swelled to 200, including many students from others schools with the same message.
D.C. police and D.C. school officials kept an eye on the students when they relocated off campus, but they did not interfere with the protest. Nobody was arrested.
There is no word yet what punishment, if any, the students will face for leaving school for the day.
