August 8, 2010 (PennLive) - My husband left for his second deployment to Iraq in October 2008 and a stranger returned home this past February. Sometimes PTSD is about soldiers having trouble coming back to the "home front" and getting on with their lives as spouses, parents and workers.

August 6, 2010 (Bergmann & Moore) - On August 2, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit ordered VA to issue final regulations within 30 days adding ischemic heart disease, Parkinson’s disease, and B-cell leukemias to the list of disabilities presumptively caused by Agent Orange exposure.

August 2, 2010 (National Veterans Legal Services Program) WASHINGTON - Veterans organizations scored a victory today for Vietnam veterans suffering from diseases associated with Agent Orange exposure. In a court order issued this morning, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit instructed the VA to issue within 30 days new rules for paying disability benefits to Vietnam veterans stricken with ischemic heart disease, Parkinson’s disease, or B-cell leukemias.

August 4, 2010 (Bloomberg) - Senator John McCain said Congress will examine life insurance companies that profit from accounts that hold death benefits from policies of deceased U.S. soldiers and veterans.
