VCS works to provide new information to veterans, the public, the media, and Congress related to the military, veterans affairs, and foreign policy. Regrettably, we are not staffed to help with individual VA or other claims or to provide other individual assistance. Please see the links provided on the right-hand side of our website for organizations that assist veterans.

Haven’t received receipt for an RV donated n September. Please advise!!
I just read an CNN article that states your organization has joined forces with the anti-Constitutional, anti-American, pro-terrorist, elitist gun grabbers. If this is so, or even close, you make damn sure that I, as a 20+ year veteran, am NOT ever included among your supporters.
Aligning with the Kelly weasel ANTI Gun group. Do not aver claim to speak for real veterans.
Really you are a sellout to Vets everywhere.
They are a different organization, but with a similar sounding name (We are “Veterans for Common Sense,” they are “Veterans Coalition for Common Sense”). We are working now on a response. We are not affiliated with them.

Where can I sign up and be actively involved here in Albuquerque New Mexico?
You need to Trademark your name. Then you can legally force VCCS to change their name for being too similar to yours, on the ground that the similarity creates confusion.
Oh… file for Trade Mark at the Patents and Trademarks Office (US PTO).
I would like to applaud the founders of this organization for standing up to the gun nuts and the NRA, who wrap themselves in the American flag and pretend to represent veterans. I am a Vietnam vet, a former Army Captain and graduate, among other things, of the Infantry Officers Candidate School, the Armor School and numerous other Army schools during my years in service. I’m not against responsible gun ownership. My dad was a hunter and we had many guns in the house, which we used safely for their intended purpose. But failure to enact and implement common sense gun safety laws is a complete abdication of our responsibility to our fellow citizens. I am an expert marksman with many military weapons, but that doesn’t mean that I think everyone should have unlimited access to them or to “civilian version” like the AR-15 which has not purpose except killing humans in combat. There are so many things we can do. Let’s do them!
Really, you just don’t get it, do you?
I apologize. I hope you take them to task for their intentional foolery…
